JOB DESCRIPTION: S2Technologies is currently sourcing qualified candidates to join our team. We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist with hardware, software, and integrated COTS systems experience to support Product Manager (PdM) Multi-Mission Surveillance Systems (M2S2) Project Office located in Building 6006 aboard Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Assists in the development, maintenance and implementation of CM process standards, plans, and procedures. Ensures changes to the process methods and processes are properly approved, communicated, and managed throughout the CM lifecycle.
- Prepare configuration documentation and maintain Configuration Management (CM) database.
- Maintain data quality, integrity, and security of CM database.
- Attends all Program and Engineering reviews, and CCBs.
- Ensures the proper baseline identification of configuration items, perform periodic audits, and provide verification of version release configuration items
- Collects and reports metrics as required
- Mentors the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies and procedures
- Provides guidance and assistance on all drawing reviews.
- Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
- Bachelor's Degree and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant Configuration Management experience. Eight years of relevant Configuration Management experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Previous experience supporting Army or DoD Program Offices is desired.
- Must currently have an active and transferrable DoD Secret security clearance.
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Must have experience with Configuration Management software tools. Previous experience with Windchill is desired.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with experience working in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
