Seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join an esteemed firm in New York. As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you play a critical role in providing legal counsel to insurance companies and their matters and representing them in defense insurance-related disputes. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging cases and contribute to the success of their clientele and firm.
LOCATION : New York (Hybrid)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Examine insurance claims made against the company and provide legal assessments on pertinent matters.
- Counsel clients on various insurance topics, such as claim processing, risk assessment, and compliance with regulations.
- Advocate for clients during negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings concerning insurance coverage conflicts.
- Prepare legal documents, including coverage analyses, pleadings, and settlement contracts.
- Work closely with clients, claims adjusters, and other parties to secure beneficial results.
- Offer strategic advice to clients on all aspects of insurance issues.
