Job Description :
Saab, Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to contribute as an integral part of the Shared Services Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
This individual will be key in supporting the Accounting Department and have previous experience working in such areas as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue, Invoicing, Inventory, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.
This includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities :
- Month-end closing procedures, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Interface with finance in weekly accounting of program revenue and costs.
- Accounting for fixed assets and depreciation.
- Support for tax filings and financial and compliance related audits.
- Participate in core business process improvements.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
Compensation Range : $63,000- $78,700
The compensation range provided is a general guideline.
