Associate IT Support Professional

Saab, Inc. isseeking a motivated Associate IT Support Professional in Orlando, FL to learn and be responsible for the following:

• Providing day-to-day technical support to employees for workplace information and communications technology systems.

• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, workstations, and limited network and system issues in a heterogeneous environment.

• Maintaining data integrity and file system security for the workplace environment.

• Communicating highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.

• Recommending and specifying hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.

• Participating in development of information technology and infrastructure projects.

• Conducting training programs designed to educate an organization's computer users about basic and specialized applications.

• Participate in an on-call rotation.

• Overnight Travel 10%

Compensation Range: $45,600- $53,600

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Scienceor related discipline. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 2 years of relevant professional or Co-Op experience.

• General knowledge and experience with configuring/ troubleshooting Windows-based computers in a business environment with Active Directory.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic Network knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, VPN).

• Excellent Organizational andtime managementskills.

• Excellent customer service follow-up skills.
