Job Description:
Saab's Land Systems division is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Program Senior Director, Operations and Maintenance (O&M). The Program Senior Director will set up and execute a comprehensive and integrated training, depot support, spares, maintenance and repair program for Land Systems’ diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will lead across a matrixed organization, as well as hire and manage key personnel to ensure successful program/project execution. They will also work closely with Saab personnel in Sweden to execute the transfer of technology and other critical know-how.
Reporting to the Vice President and General Manager, the Program Director for Land Systems O&M will resolve a variety of issues using their leadership ability, organizational skills, and knowledge of program/project management principles and concepts. The candidate must have demonstrated success as a program leader, excellent interpersonal attributes, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
- Develop and manage a program plan by coordinating with stakeholders, customers, programs, engineering, operations, manufacturing, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Work across geographically diverse infrastructure to deliver complex solutions.
- Work closely with the customer to ensure alignment on program commitments.
- Develop and execute transfer of technology (ToT) program, to include supply chain, engineering and manufacturing elements.
- Effectively develop and manage relationships and cooperation with key industry partners.
- Hire, train, mentor, and grow Program Management team.
- Set clear expectations and establish performance targets for the program/project team and deliver on those objectives.
- Effectively manage the financial performance of the assigned local operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Interface with Contracts, Finance, CM, QA, ILS, and purchasing organizations across multiple Saab sites.
- Ability to travel up to 30%, both international and domestic.

Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering, Business or related discipline is required. Master's degree/MBA is preferred.
- 15 years of progressive leadership experience in program leadership, with a preferred focus on O&M.
- Experience with land systems programs and customers is preferred.
- A strong and relevant customer network is highly desired and specific experience with Missile Systems a plus.
- Experience with various federal contracting processes to include EVMS, ECP/RFV, FAR, OTAs, SAPs, CRADAs, WPP, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, attention to detail while tracking multiple interdependent functions, and ability to follow-up action items and requests.
- Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, possess a strong work ethic and constant desire to learn.
- Must hold or be able to obtain U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance, TS/SCI is a plus.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and effectiveness working well with all levels of people in the organization.
- Experience working under an SSA for a Foreign Owned Controlled and Influenced (FOCI) organization a plus.
- Willingness to model positive behaviors and do what is needed to help make an effort succeed.

Salary : $239,600 - $323,400
