Job Overview:
We are seeking a Phone Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Bilingual would be a plus! This person is required to have excellent customer service skills. They must posses the ability to function well in a high paced environment. A high school diploma or GED plus one to three years work experience in the field is required.
Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Make outbound calls to follow up on inquiries or to provide information
- Assist callers with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and general information
- Maintain accurate records of phone conversations and interactions
- Transfer calls to appropriate departments or individuals as needed
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with callers
- Ability to analyze information and provide appropriate responses
- Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Multilingual abilities are beneficial for diverse customer interactions
- Proficient in data entry to accurately record information
