Salary: $22.59 Hourly (depending on experience)
Work Location: Fully onsite
Essential Functions:
- Provides support to the engineering and design staff by performing a variety of standardized or prescribed assignments during the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction, and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Installs, monitors, and services equipment and systems at the company and the client sites.
- Performs/assists with test and evaluation, check-out, and certification tasks; performs validations/verifications of various electronic systems.
- Reviews Engineering Change Proposals for equipment impacts.
- Assists in creating Engineering Change Instructions.
- Develops technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical drawing updates, operating procedures, and maintainability improvements.
- Supports systems engineering activities with general subject matter knowledge.
- Establishes and maintains filing systems, databases, and logs as needed for tracking project status and inventory.
- Assists work unit personnel as the on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed.
- Provides technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements.
- Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to complete assignments of moderate complexity that vary in nature and sequence.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Required:
- The candidate will possess good communication and analytical skills and working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
- Must have a valid, current state drivers license.
- This role may require substantial overtime commitments during nights and weekends to ensure timely project completion and meet business demands.
- Electro/Mechanical experience (Mobile/Stationary Generators required.
- Working knowledge of electrical measuring devises (Multimeters, Amp clamps etc.) required.
- Mechanical troubleshooting/Diagnosing experience required.
- Off road driving experience
- Trailer towing experience.
- Ability to work in extreme environmental elements.
- Good communication/analytical/Planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a group setting or by oneself.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements include US Citizenship and a security investigation.
