Saalex Solutions is looking for a General Clerk III to join our team located in Ridgecrest, CA. Position Type: Part-Time (requires nights, weekends, and holidays)
Salary: $21.18 hourly (depending on experience)
Work Location: Fully onsite
Essential Functions: The General Clerk III will perform various clerical duties to support daily operations. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining building surveillance, equipment and property surveillance
- Maintaining customer relations, serving as after hours point of contact, and system inspections for assigned faculties without direct supervision
- Performs periodic walk around inspections of the facilities, assigned equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure compliance with building security processes, facility systems functionality, as well as fire and hazard awareness.
- The candidate serves as the Point of Contact during off shift hours, they may be required to process emergency information and to forward /notify responsible parties in the event of an emergency
- Performs duties without direct supervision.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- The Candidate shall be required to walk up and down several flights of stairs and to patrol a large indoor and outdoor area of responsibility
- Required to maintain records and to give a verbal pass-down on a daily basis
- Working hours include weekends and nights to include holidays
- Valid state driver’s license and the ability to obtain a forklift license required
- High school diploma or GED required
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements include US Citizenship and a security investigation.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
