ROLE AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SAATI Americas seeks a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Equipment Installation and Support Technician to join our CST (Colour Scanner Technology) support team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, setup, and training of industrial equipment, as well as providing both onsite and remote faultfinding, repair, and customer support. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical assembly and repair work, familiarity with industrial motion control systems, and experience with electrical schematics and electronics.
Installation and Setup:
· Execute the installation and setup of industrial equipment at customer sites.
· Provide comprehensive training to end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Faultfinding and Repair:
· Conduct onsite and remote diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
· Perform timely and effective repairs to ensure minimal downtime for our customers.
Customer Support:
· Offer exceptional customer support by addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
· Establish strong working relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
· Associate degree in related discipline.
Experience:
· Background in electrical/mechanical assembly and repair work, preferably 3-5 years.
Technical Skills:
· Familiarity with industrial motion control systems.
· Knowledge of electrical schematics and electronics.
· Understanding of screen-printing equipment and processes.
Analytical Skills:
· Strong ability to analyze and problem-solve independently.
Computer Skills:
· Excellent Microsoft Windows and networking skills.
Travel:
· Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time, domestically on a weekly basis and occasional international travel.
Documentation:
· Current passport and driving license required.
Language Skills:
· Spanish speaking skills are an advantage.
