Operations Manager
Saber Power Services, LLC, (SPS) located in Houston, TX is a nationally recognized full service, EPC, specialty engineering, procurement, construction and testing and commissioning company specializing in complex medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure in North America.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Operations Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing field operations, scheduling, quality assurance, and client communication to ensure successful execution of all field service projects in Tulsa, OK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate Saber employees, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Oversee quality control on job sites, ensuring all work meets project specifications and standards.
- Identify and resolve project conflicts or issues with field and project management teams.
- Support budgeting, subcontractor bidding/awards, and permit processes.
- Communicate with clients to confirm job scope, expectations, and completion timelines.
- Provide leadership and direction to field staff, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain and update job schedules and ensure jobs are entered into internal systems before deployment.
- Manage overhead time and logistics for technicians when not assigned to a billable job.
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and project logs with clients, vendors, and technicians.
- Address discrepancies in billing and time reporting, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Support warehouse operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and functional workspace.
- Provide backup to inside sales with quoting and customer proposals.
- Monitor site safety and compliance, conducting regular inspections as needed.
- Follow up with customers post-project to ensure satisfaction and resolve outstanding issues.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in operations, preferably within the electrical or EPC industry.
- NETA Level III certification required; NETA Level II candidates will be considered if willing to obtain Level III within one year.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety regulations, and construction management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively lead teams and work cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to walk job sites, including climbing stairs and elevated structures.
Education & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or technical training preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and blueprints.
- Strong mathematical skills, including basic electrical calculations and geometry.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
