JOB SUMMARY: * *
Responsible for install, testing, maintenance and repair of all field measurement equipment. This is critical to ensure Sabine Oil and Gas production systems are operating efficiently and all safety controls are in service and functioning correctly. Position reports directly to the I&E Foreman.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: **
- Install, inspect, test, adjust, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, sample, and calibrate advanced measurement, control and safety equipment.
- Detect measurement errors and calibrate with supporting documentation.
- Monitor gas volumes and ensure that all meters are updated and calibrated per SOG measurement policy.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply electrical, electronic, and piping schematics.
- Oversee install and repair of tank battery scada monitoring systems.
- Work closely with SCOUT/Failsafe support to connect and troubleshoot live scada on company Ignition website
- Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory tariff requirements.
- Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork.
- Maintain acceptable qualifications related to assigned tasks.
OVERSITE DUTIES:
Ability to oversee and coordinate 3rd party contractors on location (instrument technicians and electricians).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
- Must have basic to intermediate level computer skills including knowledge of MS Office and MS operating system.
- Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions and decimals).
- Working knowledge of National Electric Code.
- Working knowledge of AGA measurement standards and ability to apply gas laws.
- Working knowledge of measurement errors and inaccuracies.
- Proficiency with electronic test instruments and low voltage electrical systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently unsupervised or in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to stay on assigned, regulatory, tariff and contractual schedule.
- Ability to follow company operating policies, practices and regulatory requirements.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurer’s policy.
- Familiar with pneumatic control systems
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
- Minimum associate’s degree in electrical discipline or other technical program or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with mechanical, pneumatic and electronic equipment used in oil and gas measurement and control.
- Experience and knowledge in safe operating practices for operating and handling flammable gases, liquids and high-pressure systems.

- Basic hand tools directly related to installing equipment and bending tubing
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Office and field. Required to carry a company-provided cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours. Travel is required and anticipated inside and outside of the assigned area.
