We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounts payable (AP) department for one of our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support financial reporting. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial transactions and optimizing AP processes.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor :

Supervise the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with the accounting team to support audits and financial analysis
Monitor AP aging reports and manage vendor payment schedules

Qualifications For Accounts Payable Supervisor :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

3 years of experience in accounts payable, with supervisory experience preferred

Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Experience with bank reconciliations, credit card management, and vendor relations

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, clients, and internal teams

Compensation For Accounts Payable Supervisor :

22-$25 Hourly (DOE)

Hours For Accounts Payable Supervisor :

Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
