Job Summary
The historic Sacajawea Hotel (built in 1910) is seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various clerical tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Check guests into the Hotel using our hospitality management program.
- Assist in creating dinner reservations for our restaurant Pompey's Grill.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, ensuring timely responses.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained at all times.
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
