Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance & Operations Manager position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

The Maintenance and Operations Manager under general direction, oversees an operation and maintenance unit related to the conveyance of wastewater. Work of the unit includes pipeline cleaning, repair, and minor construction. This also includes underground service alert markings for the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer).
Minimum Qualifications:
The Grade 4 California Water Environmental Association (CWEA) Collection System Maintenance Certification
AND
Three (3) years of full-time, paid supervisory experience in the public or private sector overseeing multiple crews performing, inspecting, or planning/scheduling the operation, maintenance, construction, repair or cleaning or wastewater systems, storm drainage systems, or water distribution systems. Two (2) years of experience can be in a foreman capacity overseeing multiple crews.
Note: Completion of 60 semester units or more (or 90 quarter units or more) at an accredited trade school, junior college, or university with a minimum of 30 semester units (or 45 quarter units) in mechanical-electrical technology, construction management, civil engineering, or other field closely related to the intent of the class may be substituted for one year of experience.
