What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stadium Operations Assistant position at Sacramento Republic FC?
Role Summary:
Stadium Operations staff assist with pre-game/pre-event set-up, post-game/post-event breakdown, and other stadium operational elements. They are also responsible for helping to monitor health and safety protocols. All positions are necessary on home game days, with some positions also required during the week leading up to a home game.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Follow instructions and direction for venue set-up and/or breakdown.
- Build and prepare stadium for all events, completing tasks that include, but are not limited to, stadium preparation and cleanliness, supply replenishment, and other labor-intensive tasks.
- Take initiative to identify areas requiring attention.
- Assist Stadium Operations team to ensure use of best practices in operation of stadium and providing services in accordance with company policy and operating standards.
- Assist all departments with set-up and break-down of respective areas.
- Such other duties, activities, and roles as the company from time to time may designate in its sole and absolute discretion.
Required Qualifications:
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, Weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to physically work outdoors in inclement and/or hot weather.
- Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially as they relate to safety.
- Must be able to work 80% of the regular season matches.
- Must be available to work Opening Night, Closing Night, and any State Fair games.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or carry 30 pound supplies; stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation: $16.50/hour
Part-time
Seasonal: February - November
