SUMMARY
As the Assistant Program Director for the Radiologic Technology Program, you will play an integral role in ensuring the success of our students through effective clinical coordination and academic support. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing clinical education placements, ensuring that students receive high-quality, hands-on training in accordance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
In addition to clinical coordination, the Assistant Program Director may be required to assist in didactic and laboratory instruction, providing an engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, technical proficiency, and professional development. This position involves collaboration with the Program Director, faculty, and clinical partners to uphold the integrity of the program and maintain compliance with industry and accreditation standards.

 

This position is available as full-time or part-time, depending on qualifications and institutional needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Education Oversight
  • Coordinate and manage clinical education placements for radiologic technology students.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with clinical affiliates, ensuring a seamless and compliant clinical experience.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the program and clinical sites, addressing student progress, site evaluations, and faculty concerns.
  • Monitor student performance and compliance with clinical competencies, providing mentorship and support as needed. 

Instruction & Academic Support

  • Deliver classroom and lab instruction as needed, promoting student engagement and hands-on skill development.
  • Assist in developing and refining curriculum content to align with program learning outcomes and industry best practices.
  • Support faculty members by providing backup instruction when necessary.


Program Administration & Compliance

  • Ensure clinical education policies and procedures align with accreditation requirements and institutional guidelines.
  • Assist the Program Director in curriculum development, assessment planning, and accreditation processes.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, advisory board discussions, and institutional initiatives aimed at continuous program improvement.
  • Contribute to student advising, program assessment, and strategic planning efforts.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • ARRT (R) certification and active state licensure (if required by state regulations).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and clinical partners.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences.
  • Experience in clinical instruction, coordination, or teaching is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and clinical education best practices.


Compensation:
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications, including skills, experience, and education. Additional benefits may be available based on employment status and institutional policies.

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
