Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate adult to join our after school program. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. This role requires an individual who is skilled in behavior management, understands childhood development, and has experience working with children in various capacities. Candidate will play a crucial role in implementing the lesson plans / activities set forth by the coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student engagement.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and active participation.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and support students' emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student growth and address any concerns.
- Experience
- A certificate in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, camps, or special education environments.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
