Advancement Officer

About the Position:

• This role is responsible for advancing the goals of the school through fundraising and donor relations.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of non-profit development experience and a proven track record of success with annual fund functions.
• They must be able to clear a background check and history indicating fitness to work with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advance the goals of the school through fundraising and donor relations.
• Recruit and train annual fund volunteers.
• Help build and maintain a comprehensive stewardship plan for all donors and volunteers.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated success with annual fund functions from volunteer recruitment to stewardship.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
• Relationship-builder personality; energized by working collaboratively with colleagues and parent volunteers.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• View and operate a computer frequently and consistently.
• Talk and hear to communicate effectively with the school population and the public.
