Mathematics - Assistant Teaching Professor
The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences invites applicants for a position of Assistant Teaching Professor of Mathematics, beginning August 2025. This is a one-year, non-tenure track position with potential for renewal and promotion.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include teaching 24 credit hours in Mathematics and/or Statistics per academic year to both math majors and non-majors. The area of mathematical specialty is open. Teaching Faculty are primarily responsible for teaching, advising students, contributing to the general education curriculum, and service to the university.
A master’s in mathematics is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.
Teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
