Hybrid: Mon through Thursday 4 days in office; 8am-5pm (flexible scheduling). Friday work from home.
Project Manager Software Implementation
Must have experience in: Venminder (Risk Management) and Agiloft (Contract Management System).
Experience:
- Proven experience (7 years) as a Project Manager or in a similar role within software implementations or IT consulting.
- Strong experience managing software or technology implementation projects, including scope, timeline, budget, and quality control.
- Experience working with cloud-based and on-premise software solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong experience with Powerpoint needed for weekly updates.
- Strong experience working with a 3rd party software company given the scope of this project
Skills:
- Strong project management skills with proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and critically under pressure.
- Ability to lead teams and navigate complex client relationships effectively.
- Experience with Agiloft is a super plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Lead the full software implementation lifecycle from project initiation through to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Monitor progress against the project plan and adjust resources as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, and third-party vendors during the implementation phase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and support, to ensure smooth implementation.
- Manage and resolve issues, risks, and roadblocks to avoid delays in the project timeline.
- Client Engagement and Support:
- Work closely with clients to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure alignment of expectations throughout the project.
- Lead regular meetings with internal teams and department leadership to provide updates on project status and address concerns.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality implementation services within agreed-upon timeframes.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Proactively identify potential project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the team to the appropriate senior leaders in a timely manner.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, risk logs, and status reports.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are completed, documented, and handed over in compliance with established standards.
- Post-Implementation Support:
- Coordinate the post-implementation phase to ensure successful system handoff to the client s support team.
- Provide troubleshooting and assistance during the post-go-live phase to ensure smooth transitions.
