Job Overview
The Training Lead at Saddle Creek Logistics is responsible for guiding Training Associates and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, professional, and consistent training. Acting as a liaison between management and new associates, the Training Lead collaborates with department supervisors to administer and document training while participating in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and Support: Direct the work of and provide support to Training Associates to meet training objectives and act as the primary contact for training-related matters.
- Training Execution: Conduct training on company processes, maintain an approved Training Calendar, and ensure consistency in training delivery.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure SOPs are current and maintain training records for all associates.
- Progress Monitoring: Conduct evaluations post-training, provide feedback, and follow up on progress with associates and supervisors. Identify and report associate performance gaps to supervisors.
- Assessment & Reporting: Assist with forklift skill tests, track training progress, and provide regular updates to supervisors.
- Demonstrate ownership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Foster a positive training environment aligned with company standards.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and continuous associate development.
