Role Summary:
The Legal Operations Director role is an opportunity to enhance the client experience during the mass tort life cycle. To succeed with us, you must have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, strong project management skills, and exceptional writing and communication abilities. You will drive operational efficiency, distill important details of complex mass tort litigation to educate colleagues and clients, and provide excellent legal service. Our firm leverages technology whenever possible to maximize efficiency, accuracy and client service. Our Legal Operations Director will embrace technology tools to flex legal muscle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff performing day-to-day pre-trial litigation support, ensuring seamless case management among attorneys, paralegals and client retention personnel. Evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement. Develop and implement procedures that support Firm objectives;
- Monitor, analyze and summarize active federal and state court dockets related to active and prospective tort campaigns;
- Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and produce well-written memoranda and case summaries for team members and clients;
- Collaborate with in-house technology team to gather and analyze evidence in support of cases;
- Perform research and analysis to support the firm's regulatory and ethics compliance requirements;
- Draft case status updates;
- Review and respond to client questions;
- Draft original blog content for firm website; and
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree required, and admission in good standing to AZ State Bar;
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of litigation experience;
- Strong research and writing skills;
- Familiar with MS Suite;
- A strong understanding of technology;
- Must be highly organized; and
- A passion for consumer protection and social justice issues.
This position requires a formal education and applicable experience.

- This full-time position works typical business hours from our Scottsdale, AZ office.
- Your day is filled with video conference meetings to ensure smooth functioning, followed by analysis and implementation where needed to serve the Firm's needs. There is a mix between collaborative group project work and independent execution of your piece of the project.
- Your contribution is critical to the legal operations within our high volume, fast-paced law firm.
- Occasional travel required.
