We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team for the summer. As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the Engineering department in various tasks related to CNC machining. You will be working on change over, fixture builds, cell builds, and robotic tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in change over, fixture builds, cell builds, and robotic tasks
- Work with the Engineering department to ensure smooth operations of CNC cells.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of all processes and procedures
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations
- Familiarity with change over, fixture builds, cell builds, and robotic tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
