Job Requirement:
- Carry out all duties necessary to ship and receive assigned orders both domestic and international
- Coordinate company domestic carrier shipping needs
- Generate all domestic carrier bill of lading forms
- Communicate with carriers to verify POD’s (proof of delivery) for order entry
- Perform final inventory transactions prior to shipments and audit sales orders to ensure all other transactions were completed properly
- Work with the inventory coordinator and/or schedule to correct errors
- Coordinate with foreman for off-shift UPS shipments
- Complete all international packing slips for orders shipping via container load services, airfreight, or through third-party agents
- Input all confirmation of dispatches for orders to be shipped
- Enter data of all automatic shipping notices (ASN's) into business system immediately after shipment or as instructed by the Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse Supervisor
- Prepare Receiving Reports
- Expedites material through Receiving Inspection
- Prepare shipping/receiving paperwork and maintain status records for material sent to outside processor
- Examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and communicates with truck lines to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments
