Safavieh is looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated, and organized Human Resources Coordinator. Responsibilities:
- Organizing and overseeing team member engagement programs, events, and initiatives such as holiday celebrations, recognition programs, and special events
- Assist HRBP with recruitment, interviews and hiring processes, including communication, scheduling, and onboarding
- Handling purchasing needs for the HR department and associated events, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of materials and services
- Complete and/or follow-up on various background checks
- Provide administrative support for HR Department as needed, including set-up and maintenance of employee files, distribution of HR related paperwork and policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience with HR software and systems (HRIS) preferred.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Office Assistant or Human Resources Assistant
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to handle sensitive employee issues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation:
- $25.00 per hour
