Responsibilities:
- Ensure the store meets and exceeds sales goals
- Prioritize & plan daily agendas to meet business goals and hold the team accountable to achieve those goals
- Drive brand loyalty by leading outstanding internal and external customer experience
- In partnership with the District Manager, recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a balanced staff
- Leads and inspires customer-centered culture by recognizing and rewarding team
- Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with staff on strengths and areas of opportunity
- Communicate merchandising concepts and trends to the staff
- Ensure store standards are met and maintain cleanliness, safety, etc
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience in home furnishings
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including all weekends and holidays
- Strong analytical, problem solving and sales skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
- (Optional) Proficient in STORIS systems
- $60,000.00 plus commission and a bonus based on business growth
