The Purchasing Specialist will place orders for internal and external customers using a standardized product list from pre-approved vendors. Job duties include:
- Enter management orders, send orders to vendor, and assist operational team members receive and enter orders as they enter them in the purchase order system while answering questions, as needed.
- Follow up on back orders.
- Research and get approval for new item offerings.
- Review and assist with vendor invoice issues for payment.
- Review and monitor the purchasing email inboxes daily.
- Communicate with field operations personnel.
- Reconcile receipts based on inventory sheets received from the field to open purchase orders (“PO”).
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (“GED”).
- Ability to use the functions within accounting system and various general ledger accounts.
- 2 or more years of experience in sourcing materials.
