Job Summary
At Safe Harbor Tax & Payroll, we pride ourselves on being a one stop shop for small businesses, delivering accurate, reliable, and comprehensive tax, accounting, and payroll services to our diverse and growing clientele. As we enter our busiest season, we are looking for a dedicated Administrative assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to work with clients over the phone. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage their time and work in a fast paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Intake of clients through the online portal
- Print tax returns to client portals, including signature documents and invoices
- Assist clients utilizing the online tax portal, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and professionalism
- Process payments and handle basic financial transactions
- Utilize computer software applications effectively, including word processing, scheduler, and email
- Electronic Filing of tax returns
Experience
- Experience with Drake Tax Software is not necessary but a plus
- Strong typing skills with a high degree of accuracy is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience with Portals and online accounts is a plus
- Working in a tax office is not necessary but a plus
