Safe Harbor is a Christ-centered community for rebuilding, renewing, and recovery. Our non-profit serves women recovering from substance use disorder, women living in low poverty and/or experiencing homelessness, and women in transitional housing.
This position is an excellent fit for someone with human service experience. Must have strong organizational, written and oral communication skills. Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
Primary Job Functions:
- Assist program participants to assess needs and set goals with an emphasis on life skills/budgeting
- Assist with intake and orientation of new residents
- Assist with transition/exit procedures, as needed
- Conduct monthly/random drug tests
- Assist with case management and documentation in Apricot
- Communicate daily with the program manager, weekly updates via Google Docs and email with team members
- Screen applicants, assist with the application process and eligibility determination
- Assist with weekly apartment searches
- Off-hours/on call phone support
- Ensure program guidelines are followed
- Ongoing assigning and supervision of chores
- Assist with apartment readiness
- Plan and coordinate special events as determined by GreenLeaf staff
- Assist with Volunteer Liaison responsibilities
- Assist facilities attendant with transports of Safe Harbor Fleet vehicles for maintenance and servicing
- Collaborate and co-labor with other departments, as needed for ministry enhancement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
