Job Overview
The Clinical Director is responsible for managing the daily operations of the counseling program, including individual and group counseling. The Clinical Director must be able to deliver agency services and initiatives in a culturally sensitive manner specific to the person’s race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression.
The Clinical Director also oversees the overall program integrity and daily operations of the Counseling Team, provides support to the Executive Director in general agency administration, and serves on the Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the operation of all team activities and projects
- Supports and supervises team staff
- Conducts regular meetings of team staff
- Reviews team-appropriate data sources and ensures the completion and submission of program reports
- Creates and updates all necessary team policies
- Acts as a liaison between team staff and the Executive Director to ensure a smooth continuum of client services and agency initiatives
- Oversees student intern program with the other two Directors
- Participates in bi-weekly Leadership Team meetings and regular supervision
- Provides client-centered individual and group counseling, employing age and developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced violence
- Provides on-call coverage for all client operations
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s of Social Work or Counseling College degree and a minimum of three years of counseling and/or leadership experience
- LCSW or LPC Clinical licensure
- Approved to provide clinical supervision for license-eligible staff
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects
- Experience using Microsoft Office software platforms
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with team members and clients
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues of sexual and domestic violence
- Well versed in trauma-informed care
- Ability to remain patient, calm, and professional when working in crisis situations, and work and make decisions independently and as a member of a team
- Availability to work some evening, weekend and holiday hours
- Must have reliable transportation
Salary:
$65,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience
