We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen by assisting with daily preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for the fast pace lunch rushes we have. Experience is a must due to the environment being so hectic.
This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and quality of our food service operations. If you have experience in a Fast paced kitchen we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients according to recipes.
- Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with everyone to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper storage of food items.
- Support menu planning by providing input if needed.
- Help with events as needed
- Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen IS A MUST!
- Familiarity with prep planning what is needed for the day, check with everyone, if there is any question always ask!
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $15.43 - $19.14 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
