Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management, with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities for all facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment and facilities.
- Utilize schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Oversee high voltage electrical systems, ensuring proper operation and safety measures are in place.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Train and supervise maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various equipment types.
- Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
