Safe Haven Defense US is looking for a Temporary Human Resources Recruiter to join our growing Arizona corporate team! This position will be part-time position working up to 20 hours per week from April to August 2025.
The temp HR Recruiter will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient recruitment and hiring processes to support the organization's human resource department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with the Senior Manager of Human Resources (SMHR) to understand the current staffing needs, create job descriptions with compensation analysis, and make recommendations to maximize and produce current and new job posts for open positions.
- Works with the SMHR to use company resources to source and manage incoming applicants including screening resumes, performing pre-screen interviews in a timely manner while building relationships with both candidates and hiring managers to coordinate the interview process for top candidates.
- Provides a point of contact liaison for applicants for questions about standard company policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR management during the recruitment and interview processes.
- Obtain pre-hire process documents required for hiring process compliance.
- Perform weekly meetings with the Senior Manager of HR to report progress on recruitment campaigns and needs.
- Maintains the cultural integrity and confidentiality of company information and candidate information.
- Provides clerical support and alignment to the HR department for recruitment and hiring processes.
- Helps to support compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while also working collaboratively with adjacent departments.
- Ability to remain flexible and effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient to master recruitment technologies and internal recruitment capabilities and processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for 2-8 hours per day.
- Hearing and speaking ability sufficient to carry on a conversation with another individual (or groups of individuals) in person, over the telephone, and virtual video communication applications.
- Visual ability sufficient to read and produce printed material and information displayed on a computer screen.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in human resources, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- 2 years minimum experience in a Recruitment role required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
