Position Summary
The HR Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for Surgenex. This role involves managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from identifying hiring needs to onboarding new employees. The HR Recruiter will collaborate with department managers to ensure the recruitment strategy aligns with the company’s goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role requires hiring biotech-specific positions, including roles in regulatory affairs, quality control, and laboratory sciences.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent in the biotech industry, with a focus on specialized positions.
- Manage job postings and ensure accurate and up-to-date job descriptions that reflect role requirements and company expectations.
- Work closely with department managers to understand specific hiring needs and key competencies required for specialized roles in biotechnology.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and proactive outreach to passive candidates.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interview processes with department managers to ensure alignment with job requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs, utilizing strategic talent acquisition techniques.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience from application to onboarding, maintaining engagement and communication throughout the hiring process.
- Stay up to date with employment laws, industry hiring trends, and regulatory considerations affecting talent acquisition in biotechnology.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing techniques to reach a diverse and highly skilled talent pool.
- Aid with expense management program as needed, ensuring employees are meeting company policies and compliance.
- Help with HR projects to support organizational growth and efficiency, as well as maintain positive employee moral.
- Create and maintain employee information records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Position Qualifications
- Associates degree or relevant experience within related field.
- 1 years of recruiting or HR experience within related industry.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with candidates and managers.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions while meeting hiring deadlines and maintaining quality hiring practices.
