Job Summary
SafeNest is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our work is to empower survivors, raise awareness, and work towards a violence-free community.
The Grant Director is responsible for overseeing the entire grant lifecycle, from identifying and securing funding opportunities to managing and reporting on grants. This role requires a strong understanding of grant processes and compliance regulations, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee a portfolio of current grant programs.
- Grow the Grants Department through research, identify and pursue corporate, private, and government grant opportunities.
- Write and submit detailed, persuasive grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation, ensuring alignment with our mission, organizational goals, and donor requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date grants calendar, tracking deadlines, submissions, awards, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with program, finance, and executive teams to gather necessary information and ensure seamless grant-related activities.
- Provide guidance and training to program staff to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the grant’s activity and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports to funders, including financial and programmatic updates.
- Additional duties as identified and assigned.
