POSITION TITLE: Director of Partner Relationships and Outreach
SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$80,000 annually DOE
SUPERVISED BY: Executive Director
BASIC FUNCTION: The Director of Partner Relationships and Outreach is responsible for promoting a multidisciplinary team approach to the investigation of child abuse in the child-sensitive, supportive environment of Safe Passage. The Director of Partner Relationships and Outreach will engage partner agencies in El Paso and Teller counties to ensure the multidisciplinary model is functioning to its highest capacity. The Director of Partner Relationships and Outreach will also represent Safe Passage in the community to promote awareness and adherence to the 4th Judicial District Multidisciplinary Protocol. The Director of Partner Relationships and Outreach will also represent Safe Passage in the community to promote awareness and outreach related to the services Safe Passage provides to child victims.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral science field with a minimum of three years’ relevant professional experience.
- Highly motivated, possessing organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively and with discretion.
- Independent worker and ability to function as a team player with initiative and flexibility.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of community dynamics and social issues.
- Knowledge of child abuse investigation and service system.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Public speaking and presentation skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Willingness and ability to stay current in relevant issues through live, on-line, and written training.
PARTNER RELATIONSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: (70%)
- Work collaboratively with the Directors of Advocacy, Forensic Interviewing, Development, Strategy and Partnerships and Executive Director to foster a culture of excellence across Safe Passage.
- Provide emergency program oversight in the absence of the Executive Director.
- Maintain awareness of National Children’s Alliance Standards and assist Safe Passage and greater multidisciplinary team in continued compliance with the National Children’s Standards.
- Serve as Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary team case review.
- Serve as custodian of records.
- Foster open and positive working relationships with, and knowledge of, team agencies, military bases, and communities in El Paso and Teller Counties.
- Lead effort to ensure 4th Judicial District Multidisciplinary Protocol and MOU’s are up to date.
- Lead effort to facilitate annual trainings to all affiliated agencies in the 4th Judicial District affiliated with the 4th Judicial District Multidisciplinary Protocol.
- Provide technical advice to Multidisciplinary team members.
- Facilitate professional training to Multidisciplinary Team partners on CAC-related topics such as the National Children’s Alliance Standards, Child Abuse Dynamics, etc.
OUTREACH RESPONSIBILITIES: (30%)
- Develop a comprehensive community outreach plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Build relationships with community leaders, organizations and stakeholders.
- Attend community events and meetings to promote the organization and its services.
- Designing and implementing various outreach initiatives, including awareness campaigns and community events.
- Partnering with organizations to leverage resources and expand outreach efforts.
- Developing volunteer opportunities to engage the community.
- Tracking and analyzing outreach program metrics to measure effectiveness.
- Preparing reports on outreach activities and impact reports for leadership.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to perform a job function.

Job Type: Full-time
