POSITION TITLE:
Install Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: The Install Manager plays an important role in driving the company's growth in builder/direct install sales along with providing production scheduling assistance. By managing builder Customer Service Technicians, and coordinating Installation Technicians, while executing bids and managing the sales cycle for our builder segment, the Install Manager helps ensure sales targets are met or exceeded through exceptional service and growth-oriented selling and bidding. This role covers territories where Install Technicians are established, namely the Denver and Phoenix markets today.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the builder direct installation schedule for all related geographies.
- Coordinate the accurate and timely order entry of all builder purchase orders.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager and VP of Sales on devising and implementing sales strategies.
- Execute sales and prospecting calls focused on sales revenue growth goals for the Install Builder segment of our business.
- Coordinate milestone and communication updates in builder customer online portals.
- Execute completion of acceptance/approval of builder purchase orders and lien waivers.
- Coordinate the resolution of any scheduling or Customer Service issues with builder customers.
- Generate quotes for builder customers.
- Successfully process new bid opportunities with builder prospects.
- Track performance on bid hit rates.
- Continue to develop and maintain working relationships with builder prospects and customers.
- Assist FUDT-Plant Manager in creating and maintaining production schedules that align with customer orders, demand forecasts, and material inventory levels, ensuring on-time delivery and minimal lead times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years sales experience in the building materials sector; garage door industry knowledge is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service and installation scheduling for builders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, preferred experience in Power BI and Salesforce.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluent in English; bilingual candidates preferred.
- Must be open to traveling for trade shows, product demos, and meetings.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
