We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Planner to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You'll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Lead and / or team with other staff on the preparation and production of comprehensive plans, plan elements, studies, assessments, similar planning documents, and zoning ordinances, including public outreach, research, drafting, illustrating, mapping, and document layout and formatting
- Serve as project manager for public sector clients providing on call planning / zoning assistance and attending meetings as needed (which will include some evenings), as well as conducting project work (zoning ordinances, comprehensive plans, etc.) for those client communities
- Organize, prepare for, and attend public outreach events and public meetings
- Assist planning manager with marketing and business development efforts
- Develop teaming opportunities with other professional service firms
