Safehouse Crisis Center, serving victims fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in 7-counties in Southeast Kansas is hiring for a full-time Shelter Advocate (40 hrs per week). The Shelter Advocate is an advocate for change in the lives of victims residing in shelter, providing direct crisis intervention services and advocacy. Job duties include but not limited to- crisis hotline counseling, intakes, medical & legal advocacy, transportation, and collaboration. Seeking applicants with at least an associate's degree in the social services field or related experience. Some benefits included- paid time off & health insurance reimbursement.
