A Brief Overview
The Procurement Analyst at Safelite will have a crucial role in the Indirect Procurement team, managing tasks such as reporting, analysis, and project management. They will ensure effective implementation of reporting, auditing, and measurement for sourcing and procurement initiatives within Indirect Procurement, delivering essential analysis to help achieve organizational goals. Additionally, the role involves supporting Safelite's corporate responsibility efforts in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) through comprehensive reporting, analysis, and project management.
What you will do
- Reporting and Analysis: Function as the main point of contact for all reporting and analysis activities within the Safelite Indirect Procurement organization. Develop and maintain detailed reports to monitor progress and performance and identify opportunities to reduce costs or enhance efficiencies. Utilize the spend data platform to identify trends and maintain categorization to improve analytics.
- Data Gathering, Validation, and Management: Oversee the reporting and analysis of ESG metrics, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and contributing to the organization's sustainability objectives. As required, lead ESG-related projects and initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals. The scope includes glass recycling, waste diversion, supplier diversity, scope 1-2-3 emissions, and other key metrics.
- Procurement Audits: Perform and oversee monthly spend reporting audits and supplier reporting audits, in addition to supporting and providing ad-hoc data requests for cross-functional teams.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, procurement finance, business analytics, and/or ESG sustainability
- Excellent analytical skills, including strong Excel competence
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- General Understanding of Sustainability practices and Supplier diversity
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Simfoni, SAP Concur, Engie, and/or ServiceChannel platforms are a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- KSAs
- Business acumen across Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices, ESG principles, CDP, and relevant regulations
- Strong analytical skills regarding supplier spending, spend categorizations, spend auditing, and ability to identify spend improvement opportunities leveraging data
- Communication skills with internal cross-functional partners
- Indirect Procurement functional knowledge
