We are looking for an organized, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Teammate.
Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Teammate at SafeSplash Swim School, you will be the first point of contact for families, students, and potential clients. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing administrative support to the swim school team. Your primary duties will include managing customer inquiries, scheduling lessons, sales, maintaining the front desk area, and ensuring that all clients have a positive experience.
Preferred Shifts:
We are looking for someone to fill the following shifts: Sunday AM and Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication
- Greet all visitors, parents, and students with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls regarding class schedules, enrollment, pricing, and other inquiries.
- Make outbound sales calls to convert leads and previously enrolled customers to re-enroll
- Provide information about class options, levels, and availability to new and returning clients.
- Assist with customer needs during operational hours.
Scheduling & Enrollment:
- Enroll new students, process class changes, and handle cancellations or rescheduling requests.
- Assist with processing payments, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and tracking attendance.
- Help clients select appropriate classes based on skill level and availability.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with promotional materials, forms, and any necessary supplies.
- Update client records in the school’s database and assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Coordinate communication between the front desk, instructors, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Marketing & Client Retention:
- Assist with the promotion of upcoming events, special offers, and seasonal programs. - Follow up with clients to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional service to encourage client retention and referrals.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service, receptionist, or administrative roles preferred.
- Experience in the swimming industry or sports-related environment is a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a friendly, professional phone manner.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications; experience with scheduling software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
