Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at SafeSplash Swim School. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming skills to students of all ages and skill levels in a fun and positive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum
- Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers
- Structure class time to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
- Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times
- Provide customers with monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during Splash 'N Tell week
Requirements:
- Previous swim instruction experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate with both kids and parents
- Loving kids and being reliable with the ability to swim is an absolute necessity
- Willing to certify in CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infants
- Lifeguard Certification preferred
