Summary:
The HR Recruiter will manage our entry level recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates, attending college job fairs, seeking out opportunities for and conducting Safety Insurance informational sessions with appropriate groups.
Duties:
- Participate in college job fairs
- Source opportunities for and participate in informational sessions with groups that may consist of entry level job seekers to build brand awareness
- Design and update entry job descriptions with management when necessary
- Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms like LinkedIn, Hand Shake and Indeed)
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms within Paycom
- Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
- Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally
- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
- Assist Digital Marketing department with social media presence including use of LinkedIn and Instagram
- Participate in college job fairs / Build relationships with universities and colleges through job fairs, on-campus events, and informational sessions and presentations.
- Continued engagement with Safety interns in building connections with universities and colleges
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role preferred
- Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System and resume databases
- Experience with sourcing techniques
- Understanding of referral programs
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- BS in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
