What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Safety Specialist (PSA) position at Safety?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Safety Specialist (PSA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, with a minimum of five (5) years dedicated exclusively to building construction safety. This role requires an individual with hands-on experience, practical knowledge, and documented continuing education in critical areas of construction safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on all construction sites.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections focusing on fall protection, scaffolding, excavations, confined spaces, crane / equipment operations, electrical safety, and incident investigation.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to site personnel.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety training and certifications.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
