SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a highly organized and talented Assistant Food Service Director of Production with experience in high-volume dining and high-end catering for a private day school in Wichita, KS. This position involves hands-on management of production, including cooking, inventory management, ordering, maintaining production records, and menu planning, while also supporting overall operations at the location.
The production chef will design and produce menus that cater to the community population, assist with ordering and inventory, mentor the kitchen team, and contribute to general location management. Additionally, the AFSD will support deliveries to the early childhood development center and lower and middle schools, as well as help manage the upper school retail space. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking and thrives in fast-paced environments.
