We are seeking skilled and experienced Med Surg Registered Nurses for multiple travel/contract positions in Owosso, MI. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates.
Position Details:
Position Name: Travel RN Med Surg

Pay Rate: Range $2160 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Med Surg
Shifts available: Nights or Days
Shift timings: 12 hours; Nights, 7.00p – 7.30a | Days, 7.00a - 7.30p
Schedule: 3 X 12, Any 3 days per week, Every other weekend, No Call
Position Requirements:
- 2 years of recent/current experience as RN Med Surg experience - Required
- Experience floating to ICU - Required
- Must be Covid Vaccinated or provide medical or religious exemption
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required, BSN - Preferred
- RN License for State of MI – Required
- BLS Certification from AHA (Required)
Job Description:
- Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the assigned units (Med Surg)
- Float to ICU as required
- Responsible for direction and guidance of patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing and the policies and operating instructions of the facility.
- Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product of service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and family experience.
- Must be accessible, flexible, knowledgeable, and responsive.
