Pay Range: $57 - $61 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg for a 13-week contract in Owosso, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Medical-Surgical unit and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control protocols are followed.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan (or compact license).
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
