What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Groundskeeper (Entry Level+) position at Sage Hill Inn and Spa?
We're looking for an individual who not only can adequately perform the duties of a Maintenance Person, but also has a keen eye for detail and takes initiative to get tasks done. The successful candidate for this position will have to show proficiency in basic carpentry and maintenance skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make on-the-fly decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the resort
- Maintain the grounds for the resort including mowing, weed wacking, and tree trimming.
- Maintain pool and hot tubs
- Fix and repair building facilities
- Schedule routine maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, ac filters, pool filters, septic filters, blow walkways.
- Maintain an official log of pool chemical's activity.
Skills:
- Understand and apply principles, techniques and procedures required for effective job performance
- Safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools and equipment used for custodial, grounds and building maintenance purposes
- Maintain an orderly work environment and perform tasks in prescribed and safe manner
- Meet the physical requirements of the job

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
