Description
The Camp Sage Instructor 2 will be responsible for preparing curriculum and instructional course material to teach a session for Camp Sage. The Camp Sage Instructor 2 will ensure the campers' well-being and make their camp experience as fun and rewarding as possible. A Camp Sage Instructor models the School’s core values and inspires campers to a culture that reflects the School's mission.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Teach a Camp Sage session using their area of expertise

Present a complete curriculum for approval

Provide overall supervision and general safety of campers

Must follow all COVID-19 protocols and procedures
-
Ensure that all campers are meeting COVID-19 safety protocols and procedures

Ensure campers are engaged and enjoying their camp experience

Serve as leader and role model for youth

Know where campers are at all times
-
Complete mandatory training as needed

All other duties as assigned by the Co-Directors of Summer Programs
Qualifications

High school diploma, 4-year degree preferred
-
General knowledge of their area of expertise

Good communication and leadership skills

Ability to work with middle school aged youth
