Duties
As a Kitchen Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, etc.
- Following food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals.
- Supporting cooks and chefs in various kitchen tasks to maintain efficiency during service.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Contributing to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, particularly knives used in food preparation.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen setting.
